Missoula Stands with Standing Rock

  • Free Cycles 732 South 1st Street West Missoula, MT, 59801 United States (map)

Join Us! Meet at Free Cycles at 4pm. Bring your sign for the march, food for the potluck, and a draft or completed version of your comment for the Environmental Impact Statement. We will march, return to Free Cycles, enjoy good food and discuss the EIS. For the rest of the night, there will be speakers and music.

The Water Protectors need our help more than ever. Trump is doing everything he can to push the pipeline through. Treatment of protestors by law enforcement is brutal and Veterans are putting their lives on the line. They need our support.

There are three very important things we can do from Missoula.

1) Make a Public Comment on the Environmental Impact Statement for the Lake Oahe crossing

2) Use our words to discuss the importance of resisting DAPL. We may not be in North Dakota, but we still witness the events transpiring and we are affected. Our water, our earth, and our people are in trouble.

3) Give monetary contributions to Water Protectors and Veterans.

There will be opportunities to do all three of these things on Saturday.
